THE TYRANNY OF THE TOXIC COMPETITION MINDSET

CAN YOU (WE) ESCAPE /OR SURVIVE IT?

VISION

We’re Changing the Way the World Thinks About Competition

Our world is plagued with over competition. It surrounds our everyday culture. In love and relationships, inter and intra gender responsibilities, sports, and with ourselves. In all aspects of life over competition commands attention and takes control, ending in a toxic mindset on how life should be lived.

This cannot go on.

THE OUTCOME

Through a web-doc series format, we will cover different aspects of over competition in an average day-to-day basis. This will expose how you might be directly involved in an unhealthy, highly competitive atmosphere, and not even know it.

In a visual format, we will use classic documentary styles to create mini films for each topic. Interviews, B-Roll footage, relevant photos and mixed media will all be used to create these mini-films.

Each mini-film will be paired with a written piece going into further detail regarding the relevant topic. This will include important data, infographics, and, of course, writing.

The Workplace

The “The Great Resignation” was an era in 2022 where workers began to prioritize their mental health; including better hours, time management, rather than better pay. This caused over 50 million people to quit in 2022.

- According to the US Chamber of Commerce

Youth Sports

Children today are 30% more likely to suffer a career ending injury today than they were 10 years ago. Due to year-round training, young athletes are pushing their bodies to the limit, where career ending injuries that would affect a professional athlete are now occurring in children.
